AI, Ethics and Policy in Africa
Explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping human rights across the continent, including issues of data protection, equality, and freedom of expression. Designed for policymakers, researchers, and advocates, this course equips participants to support AI systems that uphold and advance fundamental rights in African contexts.

AI and Human Rights in Africa
The Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, and the Global Center on AI Governance will host an intensive short course on Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights in Africa on 27th - 31st October 2025. Applications are open until 19th August 2025.

Introduction to Responsible AI
Gain a foundational understanding of what it means to develop and use AI responsibly. This free, self-paced course covers key concepts in AI ethics, accountability, fairness, and governance. This course is designed to equip learners across sectors with the tools to engage with AI in an informed and ethical way.
