Introduction
Meet Jacqueline Jijide a digital inclusion practitioner, communications professional, and AI enthusiast passionate about creating equitable access to technology.
A trained Digital Inclusion Practitioner under the Africa Digital Inclusion Alliance and a mentee at the African Women’s School of AI, Jacqueline holds several certificates in digital skills, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and internet governance.
As an AI scholar with the African Women’s School of Internet Governance, her research explores the social and structural barriers girls face in accessing AI education, a topic inspired by her own experience growing up in a rural area without access to computer labs.
Through her work, Jacqueline aims to bridge the digital divide, empower youth, and amplify the voices of marginalized girls eager to learn but limited by unequal access to technology.
