PROMPTS has significantly impacted maternal and newborn health in Kenya by reaching three million mothers with information. The tool led to a 20% increase in mothers attending prenatal checkups and doubled the use of postpartum family planning services. Integrating AI has improved help desk efficiency, triaging over 5,000 messages daily to ensure 90% of high-risk cases receive hospital care.

PROMPTS upholds Jacaranda’s Principles for Responsible, Person-Centred AI, prioritising a human-centred approach and high-risk threshold for health and underserved populations.
